David Alan Ingham, 80, passed peacefully on June 24, 2022, in the care of Gosnell Hospice House. He was born on April 18,1942 to Albert James Ingham and Marion Elsie (Briscoe).
Dave attended Groveland, MA schools and graduated from Pentucket Regional High School in 1961 and was the president of the Outing Club. David was also involved with the John Greenleaf Whittier chapter of DeMolay and he was also a police cadet with the Groveland Police Dept. After graduating, he spent a year as a counselor with the German Inner Mission Home for Underprivileged Children in Treysa, Germany through a program sponsored by the UCC Congregational Church. He spoke of how it was the time when the Berlin wall was put up and he always~wished he would make it back someday during a different time.
David enlisted in the Air Force and served as a medic from (62-66). He was stationed at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota and spent time in Tainan, Taiwan for training. During that time, he met Dawn Elise (Chard) and they were married in June of 1964 and had 2 children Lisa Dawn (Molnar) and Jason David.
In 1984 Dave and Dawn moved to Florida and built a beautiful home in Kissimmee. Dave made a career as a bartender at Walt Disney World working in many different locations. He retired from the Grand Floridian Convention Center in 2009 after 25 years of service acting as steward for UFCW union.
In 1990 they welcomed their~first grandson, Albert Jason (A.J.) Ingham who they proudly adopted and raised. Dave loved driving a nice car and in his retirement, he worked for a dealership delivering dealer swaps.
After Dawn passed in 2019, Dave made the move to Maine to be closer to his daughter who could provide the care and attention to his declining health. David met many amazing people along his journey and spoke fondly of his friends and neighbors, most recently at Coastal Landing in Brunswick.
Those who knew him will miss him dearly.
David loved his family and is predeceased by his parents, his wife and his brother-in-law John D Griffin.
Left to cherish his memory are sister~Marjorie A (Ingham) Griffin, daughter Lisa and Paul Molnar, son Jason, grandson/son A.J. and Ashley (Beck) Ingham, grandsons Alan Michael and Evan Peter Molnar and his great grandsons August James and Arlo Jay Ingham, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
