Cape Elizabeth-Barbara Constantine Lindsey, 90, died peacefully at her home surrounded by those she loved.
Quick witted and tenacious, she lived her life in the pursuit of bringing laughter and joy to those around her. She will be greatly missed by many but her compassion, resilience and generosity lives on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, caretaker, and love of her life, Howard Lindsey, Jr., her daughters Jodie Elgee and Jennifer Given, her sons-in-law Jim Conley and Dana Given and four grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Doctors Christopher Wellins, Charles Carpenter and their staff, as well as Hospice of Southern Maine.
A private gathering will be held for family and friends.
