He had many hobbies over the years, including golf, bowling, square dancing and woodworking.  He became very proficient at building furniture for his home.  He was always available to help his neighbors fix or repair one thing or another, being known as their “MacGyver”.
He is predeceased by his first wife, Betty and second wife, Della.
He is survived by a son, Alan Swasey and his wife, Brenda of Mesa, AZ; a daughter, Sharron Drew and her partner, Michael Moon of Plymouth, Maine; and daughter, Diane Warren and husband, Bruce of Portland, Maine; five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no service.
