Portland – Gregory Wayne Wintle, 64, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2021 at Gosnell Hospice House surrounded by loving family. Greg was born on May 23, 1957, in Portland, Maine to Cecil P. and Ann F. (Stewart) Wintle. Greg graduated from Portland High School in 1975. Greg was a member of the Boy Scouts in his youth and a Cub Scout den leader as an adult. He spent many years working on the waterfront cutting tuna. He loved camping with his family and his dog, Vern, and Grateful Dead concerts. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family, especially to Disney World. One of his best memories was taking his grandsons and family to Disney.
He was predeceased by his parents Cecil and Ann, his in-laws George and V. Grace Wood and his sister, Jane. Gregory is survived by his wife Cynthia, his daughter Kristin Gagnon and husband Josh, son Timothy and partner Kaylyn, his grandsons Jack and Keaghan, his brother Jerry and wife Bea Wintle, brother Roderick (Tiny) Wintle, sister Day Hussey, and his nieces and nephews, Karen, Rod, Dean, Mike, Michelle, and Mark.
